Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

This template is designed to assist Author in preparing the manuscript; it is an exact representation of the format expected by the editor (downloadable at Template and Author Guidelines). To use this template, please just Save As this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian language.

Tadulako Master Law Journal (TMLJ) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law Tadulako University two times a year in June and December. The aim of this journal is to provide a venue for academicians, researchers, and practitioners for publishing original research articles or review articles. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. TMLJ is available in print and online versions. The language used in this journal is English or Indonesian.

The scope of the articles published in this journal deals with a broad range of topics in the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, Administrative Law, Islamic Law, Medical Law, Environmental Law, and another section related to contemporary issues in law.

 

Guideline for Online Submission

The author should first register as Author and/or be offered as a Reviewer through the following address: http://jurnal.untad.ac.id/jurnal/index.php/TMLJ/about/submissions#authorGuidelines

The author should fulfill the form as detailed as possible where the star-marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, the Author clicks on the “Register” button to proceed with the registration. Therefore, the Author is brought to an online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. In the Start, a New Submission section, click on “’ Click Here’: to go to step one of the five-step submission process”. The following are five steps in the online submission process:

  1. Step 1 - Starting the Submission: Select the appropriate section of journal, i.e. Original Research Articles or Review Articles. Thus, the author must check-mark on the submission checklists.
  2. Step 2 – Uploading the Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and choose the manuscript document file to be submitted, then click the Upload button.
  3. Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detailed authors' metadata should be entered including the marked corresponding author. After that, the manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.
  4. Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary files should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on the Browse button, choose the files, and then click on the Upload button.
  5. Step 5 – Confirming the Submission: The author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to TALREV journal, click the Finish Submission button after the document is true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.

After this submission, the Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes the status of the manuscript review and editorial process.

PAPER FORMAT

The sequence of manuscripts following:

  1. Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Method (for Original Research Articles); Analysis and Discussion; Conclusion; and Bibliography.
  2. The word limit for the submission is 4000-10000 words

The bibliography at the end of the manuscript is arranged alphabetically by author following:
